MacRitchie treetops, macaques and rainforest secrets
Local tour guide in Singapore, Singapore.
I am a biology graduate who never quite left the forest. MacRitchie was my field research site for three years, and now it is where I take travellers who want to see the wild heart hiding inside this famously urban country. I can find flying lemurs sleeping against tree trunks and tell you which macaque is the troop leader. Slow walking, sharp eyes, and proper rainforest quiet: that is my method.
Hike into genuine rainforest without leaving the city, crossing the famous free-standing suspension bridge 25 metres above the forest floor. A trained biologist helps you spot flying lemurs, monitor lizards, and long-tailed macaques while decoding the ecosystem around you. Eleven kilometres of green therapy, paced for wildlife watching.
